Default is studebaker overdrive worth buying

would the solonoid ,governor and internal parts be compatable with
the ford OD. Stud is a T96 1A --WG DIv. the solonoid has 3 wires to it.
came out of a 1969 6cyl Stud. Bolt patern is 6x4 at bell houseing and
4x4 where OD attaches to rear of trans. Can buy reasonable. Trans is
very small. Thanks.

I thought Studebaker stopped building cars in ’64 in the U.S., and '66 in Canada...? They did use BW overdrives like Ford (from the early '50's) so its possible that it could work but I would check its origin.

Borg Warner made many different designs for many different manufacturers. They sometimes have parts that cross over but I wouldn't count on it.
