Does anyone have rear fenders for the 1928/29 AA Stake Bed (like pictured below) where they can get some measurements for me?

TIA!!

Brent:
This is from Neil Wilson on the Model AA Ford Truck forum:

The attached picture with dimensions shows the AA rear fender used with the 82-A closed cab or 76-A open cab. This would be thru 6/30.

With the introduction of the 82-B closed cab or 76-B open cab (6/30), the AA rear fender was changed in that the section where the fender meets the apron was revised to match the '30/'31 style aprons (see the last two pictures). Otherwise, the fender was the same as the prior design.

Good luck,
Fred

Thank you.

BTW, did the 1928 Express Bed and the Flatbed AA trucks use the same rear fender??

They used the same fenders but each used their own right and left spacers. That is based on the parts books and I personally have no idea what the spacers were!

Starting in about February 1928, the AA rear fenders were the same for the express and platform. This same fenders were used on the AA panel delivery when it started production later in 1928.

The fender spacer shown above is for the express. Below is a picture of the platform rear fender spacers (on the left). Express spacers and on the right.

And if you really want to have fun, look for the forged bracket for this fender.

Boy that's no lie. Ours is a '29, and have one of the forged brackets, but the other one is missing. Do have the nice long running boards though.

I know a guy looking for set of rear fender brackets. How much you want for them?
