Coker Tire offer the Excelsior Stahl Sport Radial Tire in 600R20
Are there any other radial tire in this size?

Coker says they are inspired by vintage competition and early race cars, but if that's the same size needed for an AA why not? Around $350 ea.

They are tube type and of perfect size, but $340 is on the expensive side - $2,653 for 7 tires with tubes. That's why I was wondering if there was any alternatives. I have 600R16's Excelsior Stahl Sport Radials on my 34' Tudor and I love them.

Are you a purist?? If not , go with modern tires. A LOT LESS expensive.

Paul, since you said " go with modern tires", I was asking for a tire brand and hopefully a specific type, not a Swedish retailer

If you have a 1930-31 AA with dual rear tires, Radials will probably rub between the tires where they expand at the bottom from the load.
Ford had problems with the bias ply tires rubbing during production.

You are right Bill!
The bias tires do contact at the bottom, but they don't seem to rubb any. I believe they only touch gently with no rubbing since there are no motion between them. I can not see any wear or scuffing marks. What kind of problem was it?

Ford addressed the problem of the tires rubbing with new wheels. See the
Service Bulletins page 528 January 1931.

I received this information from Coker:

Chris, If current, stiff sidewall bias tires are touching, then it is likely the Excelsiors will do so as well. That shouldn’t be a problem as you note they cannot rotate freely of each other, but it may be something to at least keep an eye on.

I did order the Service Bulletins but it will take several weeks to get them. I would appreciate if someone will publish Service Bulletins page 528 dated January 1931
