Wiper Vacuum Lines
I am converting a 1930 Model A Coupe from hand operated wiper to vacuum operated. Can anyone either describe or post photos to show me how and where the vacuum lines are installed? I don't need the engine connection since I am V-8 Chevy powered. Just how to route the lines from firewall to wiper unit. Thanks to anyone who helps. I plan to use a Trico KCX-1 vacuum wiper unit. I always wondered why Ford installs the motor on the driver's side but routes the vacuum line all the way to the passenger side of the car. Strange.

Re: Wiper Vacuum Lines
Could be because the vacuum comes off the intake manifold on the passenger side, so it would keep the engine compartment cleaner to just come straight off the manifold and back through the firewall, instead of looping around or over the engine to route it back to the driver's side before going through the firewall.
