Default Zero Grease Fitting Replacement

I bought a set of replacement Zerk grease fittings from Bratton’s. Some of the old fittings look pressed in. What is the easiest way to remove them without breaking the old fittings?

A small chisel and hammer...work your way around the zerk...it will soon come out.

As others have said, like removing a tooth - vice grips and rock it back and forth while pulling.

I recently replaced the fittings in a pair of spindles. I had a terrible time instaling the push in fittings. I think they were too large diameter. Repro parts.

I hab done it about 10 years ago and I do not remember it being that hard. You will need the special tool to drive them in.

The holes are too big to tap 1/8 pipe for screw ins.
