The past 2 weeks have been spent getting the new machine in the shop and the old 2 out. Next is to set up the new one for the parts that will be showing up in a month or so. As I do that I am running production parts for Snyder and working on some Cleveland blocks. Also I peck away at the tooling model for the new 8BA. I pretty much finished the lifter valley today. I do the model in sections so I can keep a handle on how I want to make the sand assembly.

Also working on the foundry set up here and there. Lots to do!

Tod

Hi Everyone, I hope I don't offend anyone, but when I saw this photo, I thought "This is what The Promised Land looks like."

This was my first look at the block blanks since I am late to this thread. Both Model A and Cleveland blocks look outstanding even in bare form.

My brother and I have set up enough machines to know that it takes a good bit of time and concentrated effort to get them set for accuracy and in up and running form not to mention the expense. I know that Tod is one busy person these days.

I'll be interested in how they do also. I think the enlarged and smoother flow will be a great improvement. Hopefully, only polishing will be needed.

I was working on the passenger ports today.
