I removed starter, generator, and carb. Vigorously scrubbed all visible parts with Gunk mixed w/ diesel fuel, then power washed it. Then brushed entire motor w/ degreaser. When dry I removed spark plugs, masked the distributor, and painted w/ Model A green engine paint. Probably won't start it again for a few months, so will have to wait to see if my process worked.

I like Purple Power (Wal Mart or Auto Zone) biodegradable and easy to work with. Spray on cold engine after saran wrapping the dist. & electrical junction box. Then use a scrub brush where accessible and rinse it off. I gently wipe with an old towel. Chap
