Default Spotlight

I need information on how to disassemble the THRU THE POST MOBILITE SPOTLIGHT It was made by S. H. THOMPSON MFG CO DAYTON OHIO. The shaft on the light is 11 inches long. It has a knob on the end to operate it that is two and one half inch in diameter instead of the usual handle found on most spotlights.

I used a spotlight on a car for almost 30 years. But when it flummuxed we took it to the shop and someone else fixed it.
