Default Mart's update: 2021 No5. Ol' 59 Flatty Project Pt. 21. Pistons in. Gasket how-to.

Hello. Welcome to Mart's Garage.
This week will feature more progress on the Ol' 59 Flatty. After last episode's "fun" with the con rod bushes, it's time to get the pistons and rods into the block. I think it's better to have things built up rather than sitting around in pieces. I get the rods all buttoned up and to keep the momentum going I show how I hand made the gasket for the front cover.
So sit back, relax and watch me enjoying myself in the garage.
Take care and I'll catch you next time.
Let me know if the simpler format works or doesn't work for you.
Cheers!.
Mart.
