Default 36 temperature gauge

The connection from temperature sending unit is broken at sensor.
I've seen comments about new replacement units that do not work as well as original units. Any suggestions to have repaired, NOS or supplier for good new replacement?

Thanks!

John Wolf, Willoughby, Ohio rebuilt my '36 temp gauge and it has worked accurately for the last 3 years. Might want to consider them........ http://johnwolfco.com/
