We’ve been selling them for about 3 years. Had only one returned and its only problem was that it was run with dirty fuel. These are all run on a test engine (and adjusted accordingly as needed) before packing up in their carton for orders. It’s as close as “plug and play “ as you can get.

We keep all three versions in stock:

I purchased one from DC about 3 years ago to take as a spare while traveling to the Black Hills (South Dakota) in my '50. Well, my original started acting up while in Deadwood, SD and I promptly installed the DC unit and it ran great right out of the box. I sent my original to Charley/NY and had him rebuild it. I am now running the original carb and the DC unit is back in the box waiting for another trip!

I put one on a friend's '40 pickup due to the original being totally wore out. It ran great right out of the box. Friend is very happy with it.

Put one on a 59A, ran great after adjusting it correctly.
