Default 41 pick up windows

Hello all. At the point with my wife's 41 where I need some info on the Windows. I have a local glass guys that does our shower doors that can cut these windows for me. I understand the 41 is different than my 47. I need templates for Al the glass guy. How thick are the Windows?
Thanks happy new years

Are they cutting safety glass? I bought a full kit off a vender on epay. Wasn't a bad price, fit great.

Oh course, spend your money local! Not sure if the company I bought off epay was close to me, it was inside the U.S. though.

think this is them I can go through paper work, ordered coke-bottle green (other then the front windshield. If you are interested I can look it up. Quite a few online now.

Man Tinker that's a good site. Wish we had a place like this in NZ when I did my glass. I used old glass as a pattern but even using a pattern you can end up with the cut glass being either slightly too big or small. I found my windshield cuts which were taken off old glass (not the original) was not sized quite right as a result I had trouble getting the inner escutcheon to mate up to the seal properly.... I had to find some longer screws to reach the holes in some places. Looks good now but was a"chore". Like you I had a slightly green tint done but for all the glass. The price looks good too. I paid nearly $1K NZ to have all my glass cut (safety for side windows) which equates to about $700 US.
Backlight is the original clear as it is curved for a 48 car

Back in 2005 I installed Sanders Reproduction Glass on the Tonner. Attached is a current quote for their product. Their product and service was excellent. I had heard that the business was sold a few years ago to a national auto glass company so buyer beware. https://www.sandersreproglass.com/or...line-template/

I have used samples for a '40 pickup of all the locations that I could, perhaps, lay on a sheet of paper and draw a template of each one if you can't do better.

Check your PM’s. I have the original glass from the 40 tonner. Its my understanding that the 40-47 cabs are the same for the truck line excluding COE.

I've always liked the quality of Dennis Carpenters rubber products. good fit with little "flash" from the moulding on it. Not sure if he still has them done in USA or whether he has gone "off shore".
