Day 2: Short trip to Durango, repaired Crank Pulley a fellow FordBarner's and toured the train maintenance shop & Museum. Ever seen a 60 Ton Press? Lathe to true up 44 inch train wheels? Climb into Steam Trains, watch train moved on a Turn Table, museum hadant train items. Great time, couldn't load any pictures, will upload later, after our train ride today.

Day 3: Durango- Silverton Narrow Gauge ride. Great weather, great trip beautiful scenery. 45 mile journey, 3 1/2 hours, 4 Tons of coal. Still want to ride in the cab. Tomorrow, Mesa Verde National Park, then on to Moab.

I would love to be on that tour ! Colin L and I drove our "A"s from Ottawa Ontario to the MARC meet in French Lick for a return trip of 2,175 plus miles. It was a wonderful experience and your tour will be one not soon forgotten.

Day 4: Heavy rain did not slow us down. Visited Mesa Verde National Park, past by Canyonlands National Park on our way to Moab. Cliff Dwelling in Mesa Verde. Very interesting history.

Day 5: Arches National Park in the early morning fog, the on to thr River Road for lunch at the Red Cliff Lodge on the Colorado River. Beautiful Scenery, Great Weather, and a very enjoyable day. The attached picture was taken in Arches NP. Early morning sun on the towers, we....are in the shadows.

day 6: Visited Dinosaur Journey, traveled through Colorado National Monument and toured Grand River Vineyard (surprisingly, some wine was purchased). Some car problems during the tour, head gasket & rear hub problem, both repaired, ready for tomorrow.
