Default Home from Hershey!

WOW, In all my years at Hershey, I did not see anything like today. Rain and more rain. Had some business with Brookville and stood in water over my shoes. It let up a bit so we could walk the car corral and checked out all the high priced vehicles! There was a 34 sedan delivery with 'Hershey Chocolates' on the sides that was extremely nice. Very nice green/blk 28/29ccpu also. Charlie NY delivered my beautiful Offenhauser 2x2 setup with linkages, pressure gauge, hand formed lines, etc. He is a craftsman. Thanks Charlie.
Sorry that I did not get to see the Fordbarners that braved the weather. Hopefully at Gettysburg.

Jack, very bad time at Hershey, attendance was poor, open spaces every where even on Wednesday and Thursday, most spaces are now for personal cars, parking of large campers and huge buses. Everyone was leaving at about 9:00 to 10:00AM today. Motels gouge everyone on prices and that has now killing NASCAR and now with cost of gas, Hershey is suffering from abuse of locals, will not return, Bruce

Found everything I went for. Tuesday and Wednesday were great as always. Thursday was so so but found some great stuff and vendors were dealing with the weather forecast and the rain starting. Then all hell broke out. Rained all night and let up in the morning giving us just enough time to pack up our spot and hit the road. We had two great years so we were due. At least we no longer have mud to deal with. Can't wait until next year.
