Default Model A vs Model T pickup bed - differences??

Friend has a pickup bed he wants to get rid of. How can I tell if it is an early Model A bed or a Model T bed. Looks longer from wheel well centerline to end of bed than it should. Any dimension that would be a clear indicator?

I get 33 inches from rear wheel center line to end of the bed on my 29 ccpu.

There is a cutout (angled bump out) in the front board on the drivers side so you can reach the battery in the T box. Often this has been flattened and welded up. The tell signs would still be there.

the Model T bed has the front stake pockets back from the cab,a little bit. model A they are at the end of bed. Also the T has a battery cover panel in the front panel on the driver side. Also bed is differnt where the rear fenders go on.

The front stake pockets are the first think that pops out. The T top folded, the A did not, that is why the T pockets are set back. Bob
