If you EVER get to Belfast Maine, do not skip Young's Lobster Pound. By far the tastiest, freshest, and least expensive treat of the trip. Bring your own cracker, tablecloth, wine, side dishes, go as big as you want. Or if you are Tourists, just grin and shove it in. Get the twin lobsters, and a pound of mussels.

Our beautiful hotel, the Belfast Harbor Inn, was just outstanding.

I like the picture of John Mason at the lobster pound. Where did he get the yellow raincoat?

This looks like a good opportunity to thank everyone for the success of the NE summer tour. This would not have gone off without having the Fordbarn forum. I doubt our tour group would have been brought together otherwise. So a huge thanks to Shelly for starting it and to Ryan for taking it over and keeping it going.

Thanks to the following:
The folks hosting our stops:
Bob at Mainline Exotics in Biddeford, ME – Not old Ford related, but a very interesting collection.
Neil at Goldenrod Garage in Freeport, ME – He has a large variety of collector cars in all conditions.
Walt Dupont (The Flathead King) - Walt’s class on Flathead oiling was very informative and he is a gracious host.
Tom, Ron and the whole crew at the Fantasy Speedway in Unity Plantation, ME - Our band of misfits had way too much fun here.

The participants:
Chuck & Kathie S. - Chuck_Stevens
Pete & Donna L.
Phil & Carole M. – Trainguy
John & Barb M. – Oldford2
John M. – JM_35_Sedan
Jeff H. – Very_Tangled
Henry H. – Henry@1140 Thanks for doing the magnetic signs.
Scott W. - 39Portlander
Brian B. - BrianCT

Vic Piano for his promotional efforts.

A special mention to Nancy Brewer at Mc Farland Ford in Exeter, NH for providing tow rig parking for the duration.

Chuck, it sure looks like everyone had a blast, hope I can make the tour next year.

Phil, A N.E. PA tour would be outstanding. Let us know how we can help you put it together. Vic

Vic,
I know Karen and I had a blast. Even with Henry's prodding she was afraid to try the Lazy6 at the speedway. She asked more than once afterwards if I thought she could handle it. I told her she should have tried. Thank you Henry for bringing out the inner racer in her. We're ready to go again. You need to come to the next NE event.
Phil,
If you can set something up for PA we will be there. Let us know if we can help.

Phil,
Chuck L.,JM, and I have some experience and I'm sure we would all be glad to add our two cents if you need any help. I think your idea of the host motel is good, fun to be at the same place. PA has a lot to see, and we would like to check out your collection. Keep in touch, Chuck S.

The moose family did not earn a vacation this year, but your get together looked like it was tops in my book. Great cars and great friends, wow! We have never been to Maine, but based on your pictures and descriptions, it is now on the bucket list.
