hey guys, so this little clip i put in my safe place, just cant remember where that safe place is lol ...
anyone use anything different ? been looking through my junk and just cant come up with anything that looks good enofe to use ,,
think there the same for model A,s ?
anyone have a extra they would part with ? or know of something that would make a good replacement ?>

thats the clip for the light rod, as you know, the same thru 39. the rod itself is 3/8", so a 5/16 lock washer twisted straight in the vise, with a chunk hacksaw cut out works good. hopefully you have another rod to play with so you dont have to do your trial fitting on the car

I have found the new ones have to be ground smaller or they do not fit the recess.

Also this tool saves a lot of frustration putting one in.
