Default video of recovery of AA truck

Video is longer than it needed to be but still an interesting event,
rolling a AA out of 30+ years of storage......

Most of these videos are too long, but it's great they are out there. Matt and his crew do some great rescues. I ran into him at Hershey this year. Nice to see the younger fellows enthused about this stuff like we are.

I watched the videos. Did they ever get it running? I can't find additional video.

Search Iron Trap Garage on YouTube. I met Matt at Hershey, great guy, totally all in on early V-8’s.

I watched both videos....strange a mechanic didn't know to soak the cylinders with MMO&ATF before trying to turn it over, but I learned that on a farm. My Great-Grandpa had an early AA Gin-Pole Truck, Dad said it had a single speed low rear end and wouldnt run over 35 or 40.

They did a good video tour of the MAFFI Museum at Gilmore last year.

No they didn't get it running they just got it to flip it and make money. Like they do with most of their stuff.

Yes, that’s how business works… buy low, sell high.

They said up front they had no plans to restore it, to maybe get it running and sell it. They also never said what they bought or sold it for.

At least someone didn't sell it for scrap, or worse. A farmer I worked for had a 29 Coupe he got as a kid still in his barn. After his death the property sold to an oil company, they had a D7 arrive and dig a big hole, pushed the house, barn, Model A and Farmall Super M I operated as a teen in the hole and cover it up.

Nothing wrong with earning a profit.
I'm always pleased if I make money on a vehicle.
Just doesn't happen frequently for me.

I hate to see waste.....

Oddly enough Iron Trap just posted a video last week similar to this except it was Auburn parts.
