Our '34 pickups always draw a crowd. Here are a couple of pics from back in 1958 when I was in engineering school. A group of students hangs out with the truck. I'm sitting on the running board, second from the right. Next a gang gets a ride to the homecoming parade.

To keep the thread going, here is a more recent picture of my 34.Still got a long way to go. It was far too rusty to restore. Even the frame had to be discarded. Not much left of the original so its becoming a hot rod as a companion to my stock 1928 truck.

Here is my 32 BB dump. It took a while just to dig it out. One of my most enjoyable builds!!! I drive it all summer to work.

Looking for my Dad's '33 Pickup that he sold back in 1978, here is a link to the post on The HAMB as the admins here deleted my original post:

Any help is much appreciated and there is a cash reward if found

Nice, user friendly. Similar to how we will build ours but unfortunately ours has been painted an ugly red at some stage so with the body repairs etc it will lack the appeal of yours.

Plans are to leave it alone other than putting an '36 flathead in it and drive it. I wasn't looking for a truck , but a friend of mine bought it to flip and when I saw it I had to have it. He had it for a whole 7 hours from buying it and delivering it to my house. It should be a good cruiser for Victoria this summer.

Bought the '32 1 1/2 ton here on Orcas Island and the '34 over in Mt Vernon. The '32 had an 8ba in it and I drove it off the trailer, the '34 had an original looking 21 stud engine. The '34 is still on the island and I'd love to get it back. I don't think the buyer has ever taken it out of his garage in 15 years.
