Were there rear view mirror clocks pre-1933

Yes I have one in a 31 Victoria original to the car

Only a header mounted clock made by Buren for Ford was available

So answer to your question is no if you are referring to Ford Model A.

I'm third owner from new person I purchased it from got it from original owner in 1955 for a 16th birthday gift to drive to school. She told me it was original but I suppose original owner may have changed it before 1955. There for I;m not going to argue the point as I didn't buy the car new.
