Re: radiator question
The position of the radiator is adjustable, and there are variations in the core thickness of reproduction radiators, so the clearance to the pump shaft will be a range of dimensions. I just measured the clearance on my 1931 Victoria which has a Walker radiator, and it has 0.75".

Re: radiator question
I'm guessing, but i presume you don't have much choice as the radiator supports dictate how wide the bonnet gap will be???

Re: radiator question
my new radiator cracked below the return pipe. I have the new type engine mounts, float a motor and they allow more movement and I reckon that allowed the engine to move forward just a smidgeon when the motor car accelerated. Thus a small movement. Well that's the most probable reason.
Give a margin. And those mounts are great. No more tingling hands.

Re: radiator question
What aluminum radiator did you choose?
My radiator is leaking when my truck is warm. I'm looking for a replacement. Thanks! |
