I wasn't too enamoured with the "off the shelf" clip on exhaust tip so I got some 22 gauge stainless sheet,a piece of tube and an old radiator emblem.

It turned out quite well

Model B Zenith carburettors have a habit of dropping petrol
where petrol isn't wanted.....usually on the engine splash panels. To protect them I made this "air cleaner" and combination drip tray. Not visible in the photos ;there's a drain at the leading edge of the tray which takes any excess
petrol through a rubber pipe and onto the road.

There's nothing in the air cleaner; just fresh air

Yes, the spare wheel cover (a joint effort) was a real labour of love. The section that covers the tyre tread was made up of eight pieces of 18g steel welded together. The sidewall cover; four pieces. I believe originally the bright trims were stainless steel. On mine it's convex section brass bar; studs silver soldered on the back then chromium plate. The outer cover is secured with an over centre catch which pretty much replicates the original.

The HAND SIGNALS ONLY sign was fun. I marked out and cut the letters from a piece of 10g aluminium. Object was the mirror the cast aluminium rear number plate.
