Default When was the tools put in the Model A

At what point were the tools and the owner's manual placed in the Model A. Was it during the assembly, when it was shipped to the dealer, or done at the local dealer? I would like to hear from someone that has seen documentation of when it was done and what that documentation was.

I would imagine (guess) it would have been at the end of the asembly line, just before it left the building.

Hey John: I used to live in North Highlands back in the '80's-'90's, my buddy had a Harley shop over by the old train bridge there in Rocklin, my Mom lived up there for awhile too.

I seem to recall reading somewhere, couldn't give you the reference at this point, that the tools were literally thrown in as the car was coming off the assembly line.

I've read that the tool kits were supplied by the dealer. So they could vary from dealer to dealer and even car to car, depending on who assembled them and what tools they had on hand. Admittedly, that seems more haphazard than Ford usually did things. And I have no documentation other than my decades old memory (which sure ain't what it used to be! )
