Default 1929 Deluxe Delivery...

The RG's tells us that the Door Panels (12-7 Revised 2016) are "Pyroxylin Coated Cardboard".

1. Just how would one reproduce this; OR 2. Would it be refering to the "Spanish Brown Colonial Grain Cardboard" as described on (12-34 Revised 2016) as being "Pyroxylin Coated"?

3. Is the Rear Floor Mat reproduced?

4. Where was the Floor Board Tool Box assembly located? Was it made of wood or a steel box?

5. Was there a "pocket" on the Cowl Trim Panel" and if so, what side was it located?

More questions to come later.

Thanks.

Pluck

#5. No Pockets, either in cowl or doors.

#4 Tool box. Found behind passenger seat. Metal door, hinged across the top, embossed finger hole to open and turn clasp to 'lock' closed. Metal sides & floor, top, the interior deck wood.

#3. Rear mat same as rumble mat.

#2 & #1.. Current close approximation would be to cover weather proof card board with repo. 'Spanish Brown'.

The one '29 Delivery with an original interior I've examined, the seat covering and headliner were a smoother material than our common repo Spanish Brown.

In contrast the interior side panels, rear door & front door panels were a much coarser texture than our current repo material. The panel board itself was weather proof with screening in it to retain it's shape & strength.

Contrary to the JS, the door moldings and rear window frame were painted 'molding gray'. ( 2016 Benson Archive)

I'll help as I can but will be away this week.
