Question Photo of curved back trunk?

Does anyone out there have a pic of a curved back trunk (no spare tire) installed on a 31 Victoria? Specifically like the ones Snyder's sells. I'm picking up that Victoria I've been looking at. Sooner or later I will be installing a luggage rack and trunk. Thanks in advance, Smitty.

Here's one on a 190A Leather-Back.

That's a FANCY trunk, Bob!
Even has drawers below. Trunks were probably a BIG seller!

Does Snyder's even have a trunk that will fit a Vicky? The curved back one they have is for a Sedan and it appears the back curves the opposite way as what is needed for the Vicky.

I think Y-Blockhead is right. You may end up with a straight back.

Hi smitty,

Just a suggestion:

If you do not have these already, and if you can determine that nobody sells new, custom made Victoria trunks, or good used Victoria trunks, it may be time to think about buying a hand saw and ordering a catalog that lists vintage trunk hardware.

This would appear to be a somewhat different & interesting future project.

I was thinking about building my own trunk, just for the satisfaction that it would be a one of, recently and noticed Snyder's sells all of the hardware.

Thumbs up Re: Photo of curved back trunk?

Bob Bidonde,

Where is the pic of the 190-A Leather-Back from? She sure is one sharp looking "A"! I especially like the double sided white walls. Could they be "factory" installed for some promotional stunt?!?

When I looked on Snyder's online catalog-it appeared to me that the black curved back trunk would not fit a Vickie. However, from the pic of the tan curved back trunk-it almost look like the curve is opposite of the black one. I just got off the phone with Snyder's and they assured me both the curved trunks are the same angle. So it looks like I'm going to have to go with a straight back trunk. Thanks to all for your input. Smitty
