Re: 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash"
Hi Vic and the Gang. Haven't been here in some time due to...well, lots of "stuff"...and I see the annual Bash is happening. We can't make it this year for a variety of reasons, and if we could I couldn't bring Amos as he is suffering some ignition problems (next to mechanical brakes my favorite flathead thing?!#&*!) Hope you all have a grand old time in sunny Florida and perhaps we'll catch you next time around.

Re: 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash"
Jeff, nice to hear from you, sorry you can't make it to the "Barner's Bash" this year but, don't be a stranger, let us know if we can help with the ignition problem... vic

Re: 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash"
Now it begins...
Actually, it started last night. I met a bunch of "Barner's" at the host hotel where Phil and Chuck told me that the brakes were dragging on Phil's '39 CS. The car was drivable, so the three of us drove back to my house where we put the '39 on the lift and inspected the brakes. Chuck mad a few adjustments and things got better. After some very serious discussion, over dinner, we all agreed that the problem most likely was the left rear wheel cylinder... We'll see how the '39 CS does today.

Still in GA Vic. Looks like I'll join you at Real Deal Steel tomorrow, if I can get this darn proposal out the door.

Re: 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash"
Well, the rain didn't stay away however, that didn't dampen the spirits of the intrepid group of Cigar City Flatheads as we set out on a cruise to Real Deal Steel in Sanford, and Tom Roche's Hot Rod Shop in Lakeland, Florida. I want to thank the guys at Real Deal Steel for an outstanding tour and fun time, as well as Tom Roche for another super BBQ, etc. It's always fun to see the projects that Tom has going on in his shop. I posted a few photos of some of the fun we had today on the Cigar City Flatheads page on FaceBook.(my photo bucket account is full, so I can't upload any more photos to it to put them on the FordBarn just yet) I apologize for not listing names, etc. at this point but, I wanted to get some things posted before I fall asleep... It was a long day for this old man... And, tomorrow is the picnic.
