Be prepared for the 4th, get a 5th on the 3rd.

Be careful Lawson, if you drink that 5th on the 4th you may not be up to going forth on the 5th:-).

Unfortunately, it's 750 ML now. All of the old stuff is gone. None of my jokes about pay phones, typewriters, dial telephones, and such make any sense to the current generation, so I don't tell 'em anymore. It's getting to be a different world out there.

I still drink the "old stuff" and it comes to me by the gallon jug. (plastic these days)

My phone is not modern enough to have a dial. It is in a wooden box on the wall and has a crank on the side. I still use a typewriter, which has all capitals and is called a MILL, to copy morse code from the tube type radio.

I have only upgraded my habits enough to work a computer so I can talk to youse guys.

I went to the local NAPA for a carburetor kit for a 2bbl Holley. Not only did they not have a kit, they couldn’t even look it up for me. But they did have a phone number to Echlin Div, which I called and got a number for the kit. Which I still had to order. Oh, and it didn’t come with a float, or a check valve for the accelerator pump. I can remember when carb kits had everything in them.

I doubt many of the current parts people would know what a carburetor is.

And if you 2nd that, then don't drink that 5th on the 4th, while you're diving,
OR you might have to plead the 5th on the 8th, at your court date..
