Status of Ellie
Hey everybody. Frank here!
Just wanted to let you know the status of my Vicky. The chassis is about 99.5% done and I've started to take the chassis to shows. The body is 100% apart, all the wood is removed and I've started to weld up all the holes and strip the body of primer and rust. By the way I'm 17 and never knew there was so much to do when I first received the car in Dallas. My father posts here all the time and he has been asking all the questions. |

Re: Status of Ellie
Hi Frank;
Your Chassis looks GREAT. There is a lot of satisfaction in restoring a car yourself, and a lot of work as I am sure you know. The Vicky Body is not one of the easier ones to restore but they really make a nice car when finished. Keep at it and take lots of pictures. Let us know how you are proceeding and post pictures as you make progress on the body. Chris |

Frank, looks great! Now you can put a seat and seat belts on it and drive around. Don't use a milk crate, its really dangerous, just don't ask how I know.....

Re: Status of Ellie
Looks great; like the black wheels; lots of personal satisfaction when you do as much of the restoration as you can; also a good way to learn about parts on a Model A and what makes them tick !!!!
