I would save the old arm new ball can be welded on,did this 40 years ago,I try to refurbish original parts if possible.

Snyders catalog show forged steel. I am sorry if the offends anyone, the suggestion of it being cast iron should have not been made in the first place and now only serves to confuse people. Any reference to it being cast iron should be removed.

I use a long 1/2 inch drive pull handle with a six point socket . I can usually make them tighten up. I haven't broken a nut or bolt yet .

Bert's people are extremely knowledgeable (especially Steve) so I am really surprised to see this. I will call Steve next week and find out. Mac's cat. says forged. Need a blue print answer.
