I do not see my choice for shocks listed so will not vote. I do most of my business with Berts. Rod

Maybe you should cancel post and start over and include some vendors you omitted. Wayne

I was thinking the same until I noticed "Modern" in the title and with the prices.

Ken's are great. And yes, they don't look original, but they don't stick out and look out of place like some of the big shocks I've seen on some cars with big brackets. Ken's make a better ride & are well made brackets.

When I made mine, I didn't realize that they could be purchased. Stupid Me (Smacking myself in the forehead) Ah what the hey! I can design and make them myself for lot less than these guys charge. I used Monroe 59017, costs about $25 apiece. This shock is the type that has a "eye" at both ends. I used 5/8 11 bolts to mount them. These are rear only.

May want to check out Bratton's kit. Nice powder coat, oil filled shocks (not gas), and the front to- frame upper brackets have outside rounded corners. No drilling except 2 holes in rear cross member ( similar to other vendors ). The fronts clamp to axle with evenly tightened allen head screws. Some sources debate virtues of gas charged vs. oil shocks. Gas may ride a little stiffer. As stated by others, Panhard bars on the fronts conflict with tube shock set up.
