Thumbs up Re: The $20 Model T Doctors Coupe In Maine

Stockholm Landing & Trails is a small non-profit conservation group
waaaay up in the top of Maine in Stockholm.

A local gentleman had graciously donated a running & driving
1922 Model T Doctors Coupe to be raffled off with the proceeds
to be used to build a floating boat dock and boat ramp at the river
that meanders thru the town.

Turns out - less than 20% of the tickets were sold out of state.

Elaine was convinced she would win .....

Elaine & Craig live in Sturgis, Mississippi - quite a trip from Stockholm.

I me them in April of 2017 when I hauled their 1915 Model T Touring
out from California after Bakersfield Swap.

So - they figured I could go fetch it ......

Several weeks later I rolled into town to pick it up.

I will continue - been busy haulin’ .....

The gentleman who donated the Model T has a varied personal collection including a 1916 Pearce - he does pretty much all of the restoration work on his cars except for paint & upholstery.

He has (14) Grandchildren .....

Last year he assembled them - names went into a Hat.

As a name was drawn - that person got to choose a car from his collection ....
