Default 1934 Ford Pickup fuel system questions

Ford Barners,

I'm re-doing the entire fuel system from tank-to-engine on a stock 1934 Ford Pickup. The old system was not entirely stock as it had a younger tank, used a 1936 Ford King-Seeley electric fuel sending unit and gauge, and lacked correct fuel line placement among other issues. I'm now trying to restore the fuel system to original configuration. Here's what I’m lacking in the knowledge department that I’m hoping a few Ford Barners can assist me with:

1) How should the fuel line mount on the firewall? Can anyone provide a correct picture of what it should look like?

2) How does the fuel line and hydrostatic line route from the tank? I assume it travels from the tank, across the top of the rear crossmember, along the frame, and up the left side of the steering column, across the firewall to a short flexible rubber hose, and finally to the fuel pump. A picture of the routing near the tank pick up would help greatly.

3) Fuel line mounting hardware – what clips hold the fuel line and hydrostatic line to the frame?

4) The 1936 gauge was mounted by a homemade bracket on the back of the dash. I don’t know how the stock gauge mounts but it appears the necessary bracket/hardware is missing. Can anyone show me what the stock instrument mounting looks like for the 1934 pickup gauge?

5) My fuel pump is the press-fit valve (aftermarket) kind. Can anyone recommend a good replacement source?

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Dan

Ted - thanks for the photos. That gets me going in the right direction. I appreciate the time you took to respond. I'll see if I can make some more progress this weekend and post some pictures.
