1923 T roadster GOW JOB
City:
ashland
State:
OR
Price:
12,000
Putting this back up for sale. 10,500
New business, bad teeth. It all starts adding up. 1923 all Ford steel. Wait, the rear cab panel is a repop. Mostly Model A running gear Model A motor, counterbalanced crank, V8 flywheel, repop Winfield head, 7 to 1 or so. Rare Scintilla magneto w/ centrifugal advance that was rebuilt last summer by Lenny Hughes.... The side cover and intake are original Cragar, and Burns, not repops. 97 carbs, .. 12 volt system. '32 trans case with later syncro gears. Shifts smooth. 3.54 rearend. Rebuilt 2010 w/ new ring and pinion. Rolls at 65 mph with ease. Pulls mountain passes like a champ, loaded down with two people and camping gear. Tires have 3000 miles on 'em. 2 new wheels from Coker. New Odyssey battery. New windshield glass. Schroeder steering box built for the car. T gas tank juice brakes cloth wiring The tach is not hooked up and the oil pressure gauge is gone. I have a nice tow bar that was made for the car that goes with. I've probably driven 3to4000 miles since I built it. Drove it to and from Bonneville/ Oregon for 2011 Speedweek. Runs cool in the summer without a fan. I do have one to go with it though. Gets 20-25 mpg !!! If you want to save a few hundred bucks I can set it up with a nice Mallory dist. and coil and pull off the magneto. Has a T grill on it now. Please, serious inquiries only. Not looking for trades. Except maybe a partial to a nice early Toyota 4x4, or '28-'29 Ford roadster. PM me. thanks, Gary? Last edited by corn boy; 10-19-2012 at 12:20 AM. Reason: updated ad |
