Default Shop cooling Again

I had one of my sons roll a couple of coats of Henry 287 solar-flex elastomeric brilliant white on my steel shop roof Boy what a difference. I can now work in the shop on Hot Days without fear of Heat stroke. And it also seals around all the screws that the rubber washers were starting to fail.

I bought one of those $100.00 air conditioners from Costco and it really cools my 2 car work shop nicely.

Its a thick white mastic type coating 1 gal covers about 100 sq ft Home Depot has It. I think I paid $64 dollars for five gals claims to reflect 80% of heat and uv light. I Think any roofing supply will carry Henry's products or large hardware bldg supply.

elastomeric is used to coat mobile home roofs. comes in five gallons, thick like paste. liquid vinyl. i've seen it used in fl. as an added measure for holding things together. hurricane protection.

I was just up on my shop roof to see how it looked and it seals around nails and screws great its not as thick as caulking in a tube but real close.
