Yes, lots of Ford V8s met their doom at the stock car tracks.

Thanks for that. I hadn't seen that one before. The look at life series are normally pretty good.

Same here in NZ. Ford V8's were preferred as they kept going.
Notice that British '32 Tudor B4 in the wrecking yard at the beginning!

I lived close to Islip Speedway on Long Island NY in the 50s. We could hear the cars from our house and there were many stock cars in the back yards and garages around town.
