Default O' Ron Quote

An O' Ron quote from the past:

"I like a hot cam in a street machine, if your looking for mileage buy a Preis".

Oh how the times have changed!!!!

It's amazing how age affects your thinking. Unfortunately, I still like a Hot cam in an engine, Tuning is the secret that makes them work. Mt 280 Truck has a stock EAB cam and for Vermont it works just fine and sounds pretty good as well.

Next thing we know Ol' Ron will be making a hybrid hot rod using a flathead for the gas-powered system.

OK, just to set things straight. My present project is a track roadster to run at Loudon in August, and believe me it won't have a stock cam. Just got the front coilovers in the mail yesterday and have the front disk brakes almost finished. Haven't started the engine, funds are getting pretty low, so I have a mild 248ci 59 engine ready to go. Finished the Hogs gead adapter last weekk and the T-5 is now mounted in the chassis. I know you'd like to see pics, but i sat on my camera the other day so your out of luck. Maybe somebody can post my latest video. Getting hot in Vermont over 50 again today. Never stand still.

Those tree huggers will be scratching their heads when they see a large cloud of smoke upon taking off and see all those wonderful territorial oil droppings from the mill....
