It is a great story and allot of numbers but when I click to see where the elements are coming from I see a Navistar listed.

From what I think I see that Mobil oil is not good?? I would like to see where all the elements originated.

I was confused at first, but run the curser over the elements in the left column of the Navistar report and the places that that element typically originate in the engine are displayed.

Frank, thanks for posting this. I was on the fence about getting my oil tested ($28), but this convinced me it's a good idea. I am going to wait to test my new engine until I've changed the oil at least once. Who knows what can get in there during break-in.

If you read the other reports then you'd see how they found a wrist pin failure in a new engine.

Tubman
I would send in the break in oil. They can tell you if there is any extreme amounts of the elements they monitor. you then have a valid knowledge of what is happening with your engine.
We had engine, trans, and differential oil all checked. Cost of failure " down time" justified the cost.
