Need Help: How Do You Tell The Difference Between 1937 Ford Rear Fenders?
Hey guys,
I was hoping everyone on here could help me out. I know Ford made three different type of rear fenders for 1937 Ford's: 1) Coupe, Roadster, Convertible. 2) Tudor & Fordor Sedan. 3) Convertible Sedan, Touring Sedan (Tudor & Fordor), Phaeton. But how do you tell the difference between them? Do they have noticeable differences that you can spot easily? Is there a measure I can take to tell the difference? Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Need Help: How Do You Tell The Difference Between 1937 Ford Rear Fenders?
The measurement between bottom of the rear of the fender at the bolt hole flange for the coupe, cabriolet, club cabriolet, and roadster is 10 7/8, for the flatback sedan tudor and fordor it is 9 inches, and for the humpback sedan, tudor, fordor, phaeton, and convertible sedan it is 6 5/8 inches. This measurement is for the length of the flange itself not the bolt holes. It is hard to tell them apart at a quick glance.
