Tim,

Pretty sure I got it off the Library of Congress site. Alot of times when insomnia sets in I'll plunder thru that site using all sorts of search terms. You never know what turns up!

After a string of Pepsi posts, let's kick back with a pause that refreshes... and a few Coke trucks...

Whoo hoo.....

Okay, okay... I know it's off topic, but I couldn't resist adding an imagae of a Phaeton stopping for a Coke

Judging from the radiator shell, this is either a commercial "A" or a VERY tarnished passenger car. Either way, the Coca-Cola sign continues the theme of my last post. Let's just assume that the Coke was delivered by a commercial "A," shall we?

Surfing in the web recently found a photo of a truck, I think is a ford 32´ the curiously of the photo is the inscription on the sides ( Holinger- Weidmann) (quesos y hielo) (Humboldt, provincia de Santa Fe). Why? because I live in the province Santa Fe near to the city of Humboldt. (Holinger- Weidmann) the company was selling cheese and ice. When they bought the truck, the company was send a picture and a negative of this truck to the magazine (mundo ford) with the hope that the manager of the magazine for publicate the photo...
I never saw a body like this. I don´t know the truck was fabricate in USA or is a modify truck constructed in Argentina.

Here are a couple of images from, I believe, Germany. Nice, distinctly different, body styles.

How about a AA trying to pull a Hummer out of a ditch?

Pic taken at the 2003 MARC meet in Dearborn on the Mandatory Tour.

The Hummer tried to drive through a ditch and got hung up.

Not the best picture of it but it certainly was funny!

Wow. As for the first image, I'd be tempted to restore the top covering, do the mechanicals, and drive it loooking just the way it does. Unique.

Right-Click-Save-As John,

Yes, two photos from my collection of regular series, German, Ford made, delivery vehicles. These were offered as standard models through the local German Ford dealerships.

Fordially,

I'm on a roll but here is a final set featuring my late '31 Steel top.

First pic is the day it was finished (June 27th 2003).

Second pic shows the steel top from overhead as well as how I did the wood in the bed.

Had to put in a pic of Jim Brand pinstriping in Madison, 2004.

Last two pics are after I got rid of the whitewalls and put on some new Goodyear Blackwalls, can't believe how much cooler the truck looks with them!
