There was a series of articles written in a recent publication called "Why not a Y-Block"

Does anyone know what publications, and how I could get a hold of copies?

Yes...it was a series of articles in Street Rodder by Doc Fromader starting in 1999....

you may get back issues or visit your local swap meet for the copies...part IV is May and part IX is November...I think it ran the whole year...
