1933-34 Cabriolet roof well/body wood ???
I am not sure of the correct name for this area of the car, but the recess where the convertible top folds down into.
There is a steel panel welded to the rear, and attached to the wood that goes side to side. My question is, I know there are side pieces of wood that go from the B pillar, to the metal panel (black arrow), and at least one piece of wood going across the car at the front of the steel panel (red arrow making an H). Is there one under the steel panel at the rear as well (blue arrow)? Last edited by millersgarage; 11-14-2016 at 04:32 PM. |

Re: 1933-34 Cabriolet roof well/body wood ???
My understanding is that it's called a "top well" I have a 35 cab and I wouldn't be surprised if it is different than yours. Mine was completely missing as my dad had a Carson top and removal of the top well allowed us kids to wander between the rumble area and the back of the seat. I had to fabricate a new on out of sheet metal using the upholstery panels as a pattern.
