This was the fourth coldest first day of spring on record, dating back to the early 1800's. I think it might have gotten to 20.

He's got the hood up, looks like the engine overheated, Accually the exh pipes are in the snow making steam. That is the coldes flathead. Last summer he was in Conn. with it for a couple of weeks, it was in that hot spell, like 95# he drove it every day, got a couple of trophys. His friends couldn't believe how cool it ran. He puts alot of miles on it every summer, drives it every day all over the state. Him and I, with my 40, have been all over the New England. Rain or shine. He did a great job installing that 276 with L-100 cam. Didn't cut the firewall, Walker copper radiator, monuted in original place, Rad shell and hood fit perfect like original, Even squeezed an electric fan between the rad and engine, with 8BA water pumps and Chevy dist. T-5 trans and 37 rear with 3:78 gears. That car is a cruiser. Walt

Walt, very nice Roadster Pickup! Looks like the old days when many had to drive their hot rods year round here in New England, because that is all they had....LouB.

I left the North East over twenty years ago because of the "white stuff" and cold temps but that sure looks like fun...

I have a set of NOS Model A chains still in their original cloth bag. I hope I never have to use them, lol!!
