Help with temp sender thread size
Im trying to fit temp switch for a thermo fan in my 37 21 stud. They sold me the wrong adapter.. It should be 5/8UNF . whats the measurement across the thread width of 5/8 UNF.. ? the one I took out of the head is .595"
Help.....

What the ? The adapter that was supposed to be 5/8 measured .655" across no way it would go in.

If that's the case then what you have in the head is closer to 1/4 pipe. Sounds like the adapter is 3/8 pipe which is correct for all the later heads that I have seen.
