Default 59A into a 32

I am putting a 59A into my 32 chassis. What is the dimension from the top of the front frame rail tot he center line of the crank nut.

You can put the crank saddle/u-bolt bracket on the front cross member and the crank nut should line up dead center of the crank hole. No measurement needed.
Did this for both my avatar roadster and 5w that have 59 series engines.

^^^^^^ what he said. If you don't have the u-bolt bracket, set the radiator and shell in place and stick a dowel or the hand crank through and you have it. Are you using the original style V8 block to crossmember mounts or hot rod style bolt/weld in frame mounts?

The Ford frame has a Model A front cross member. Using later V-8 Front mounts to weld in motor mounts.

Here's a better pic. The top of the biscuit is level with the frame top rail. Don't know why the pics get flipped on the side.
