Smile 1935 wheels

Hi all

I really like the 1935 wire wheel. My problem is I have a 36 with the wide fives. My question is will the 35 hubs fit on my 36 without problems. Thanks Pat

No, the front spindles are longer. You can swap spindles though.

Actually, although the spindles for a 35 are longer, you can get by using 35 drums on 36 spindles by facing a bit off the back side of the castle nut that holds it all together. Works fine; I've been running that exact combo for years.

If there is enough room on the end of the spindle, how about getting the proper size die and cutting a couple of more threads?
