Default A little help or suggestions

Former owner installed a "PowerGen" alternator and not showing any charge. Sent an inquiry to those folks and reply was: hook a voltmeter to the output terminal and should get a reading of 6.8 -7.2 Nothing shows. Ideas ?

Did you report your findings back to the PowerGen people?

Looks like they are not very interested in helping out. I did reply back that there was no reading on a voltmeter and asked where do I go next ? no answer from them so far. Almost looks like, its your problem, not ours at this point. I would just as soon go back to a generator but not many staches around my neighborhood .

There are usually some rebuilt generators or cores on eBay.
