I rode in a brass era 'T' at Greenfield Village now I want one, unfortunately I have neither the money or space for another vehicle.

Judging from the median age of Early V8 Ford Barners (in the 60's), you have to believe that interest in the flathead era Fords will decline like it has for the Model T. In modern traffic, the Model T is barely safe getting to and from a parade. The Model A is still okay around town, but not on the highway.

Our flatheads can keep up with Interstate traffic and do so safely if the brakes have been upgraded. That drivability will extend their value, but we need to introduce younger people to the satisfaction of having a car for which you know what everything is and what it does, and that you can actually fix it yourself when it isn't working right. Next time you need to mess with the carb, or distributor, or whatever, get the neighbor kid to help. And then teach them how to drive it.

Modern cars are wonderfully functional and extremely reliable, but they are mostly very boring. Our early V8 Fords might not come with built in navigation systems, TV and climate control, but they are not boring!

There's a '39 convertible there with a spare tire on the back? Must be a car that was built in Europe. The two deuce roadsters, the deuce woodie and the B-400 will probably bring some serious money. Hard to fathom that a Ford collection that large existed in the Netherlands.

With respect, far rarer than the A are the Model B (the first one, not the '32 version) and the Model Ks.

If you go through all 700 plus photos you'll note a fair number of cars with AACA First Junior and Senior plaques which suggests that at least among the passenger cars, many were purchased in the States.

I tried downloading the individual pictures from the photo bucket site to NO avail.....It will ONLY download the link to the photo bucket site, I would LIKE to get better quality photos, I have them already BUT not near the quality as on the site you sited!!!!

i wish i knew how too. i once tried to copy a photo from the "vintage shots" thread on the hamb, and it down loaded the whole page, about 50 photos for me to delete one at a time to save the one i wanted. i can drive a cutting torch better than i drive this thing!

Given the crappy quality of today's inner tubes that avoids what would be a full-time job of constantly replenishing the air in what must be a couple of thousand tires. They will still leak, but at a slower rate and best of all it avoids the appearance problem of flat tires.
