Sorry about the misdirection; I totally overlooked that those open drive banjo truck rears had bolt on E-brake cables.

I've had much of the same problem when brake shoes are adjusted free and fine, but after travelling 5 miles the L-rear begins to drag and get HOT. I'm going to gut all of the e-brake components and see if problem persists, tomorrow.
