It is a straight 6 cylinder. I assume it is a 226.

Rare to find one. I bought a small rebuilt waterpump with the same size shaft (diaXlength) and put the new shaft, bearings and seal into my housing. Don't break your

pulley or impeller. Small press is handy.
Skip may rebuild your Pump for you.

The 226 water pumps are not reproduced and need to be rebuilt using your core. They are tricky to rebuild for the casual mechanic without a proper press. Best bet is to go to a known rebuilder. A number of members on FTE have used Cowboy John in Florida with good results. I've got a backup unit ready to head his way.

You'll want to be very careful with the thermostat housing as they are prone to cracking and are also not reproduced.

I had a guy in Oregon rebuild a studebaker flathead six pump about two years ago. Of course I didn't save the receipt or info. He only rebuilds waterpumps. There was something in his business name about a 'Dutchman'
