Default 35&36ford coupe

What diff. are there in the 2 cars? The grills are different is there any diff. In the interior, dash or upholstry?

the wheals , door handles the motor if its a late 36, it will have insert bearings hood , there are a lot of differences

The front and rear fenders look the same, but on close inspection,
you will see that the '36 have more of a pronounced peak, and
therefore the taillight stands are different, as they have to fit
the crown of the fenders. I believe the headlights are different too.

best advice would be to buy the '35 to '36 book, offered by the Early Ford V-8 Club of America...can sometimes be found on epay.....will answer all your questions, as it would take quite a few pages to cover your questions.....lots of diffs.....dash layout is the same between years, with different waterfalls around the radio/ash tray....knobs are different, etc.....good luck....Mike

Hi Everyone, Surprisingly there are many differences to go with the many similarities! Agree with using the Rogers and Swanberg book from the V8 Club to get to the bottom of the question. Luckily, co-author Don Rogers is a frequent contributor here on the 'Barn.

To add some more, the cabins are virtually the same, but the fenders, wheels, and many other parts are unique.

On 35 horns are out side under headlite 36 is behind horn grilles,Cliff.
